COMUNE AGRICOLA LUNELLA S.Coop. a r.l.
Founded in 1976 and based in Galatone (LE), the Comune Agricola Lunella is an organic farming company born from the initiative of Father Bruno Stefenelli and some young people who decide to devote themselves to the cultivation of a small plot of land as an alternative to emigration and as a commitment to promote and enhance the resources of the territory. Hence the choice to practice organic farming was even before the birth of certification bodies, excluding pesticides and chemical fertilizers, bearing in mind the climatic-environmental aspects that favour crops. From a community of young people, we gradually pass to a community of families who live on the company’s grounds sharing the same ideals.
