Civic Museum Carlo Gaetano Nicastro
The museum is mainly characterized as an archeological museum, divided into several sections: the prehistoric section which includes significant evidence of the Neolithic period from one and the later Bronze Age; the pre-Roman section, characterized by testimonies dating back to the early Iron Age; the Roman section, in which important role are played by the important texts of the material culture of the territory, such as ceramics, unguentari, mosaics and finally the medieval section, which includes a rich collection of stone material from the urban area and in many cases from its buildings most important such as the Cathedral.
