AGRICOLA GALATEA 1931 SOCIETA’ COOPERATIVA
Certified organic farm. Production and sale of vegetables, fresh fruit and tomato sauce
The main activity of the GALATEA 1931 AGRICULTURAL Cooperative is the transformation of the olives given by the members into oil and the marketing of extra virgin and virgin olive oil. In the current context, with the crisis triggered by the xylella fastidiosa bacteriosis, a replanting program has started with the supply to members of certified olive trees and innovative technical equipment essential for the planting of a modern olive grove.
Since 2020, the OPERA SEME project has been launched in collaboration with Caritas Diocesana Nardo’-Gallipoli and the IPSO FACTO Social Cooperative which deals with the marketing of extra virgin olive oil directly to the consumer through direct and online sales.
